About DPI Analyzer
DPI Analyzer is a free collection of browser tools built around one number: the real DPI of your mouse. The home page measures it; the other tools turn it into an eDPI, a cm/360 and a sensitivity you can carry from one game to another.
What the site is
DPI Analyzer is a small, independent site with a narrow purpose. Every tool here is one we would use ourselves when setting up a new mouse or copying settings between games, and all of them are free with no account.
Why we built it
The DPI printed on a mouse is a target, not a measurement. Sensors drift a few percent, DPI buttons get pressed by accident, and unbranded mice do not always match their listing. Most guides tell you to open the manufacturer's software, which only shows the setting, not what the sensor delivers.
The analyzer on the home page measures the count rate directly, so you can see the number that actually reaches your games. The calculators then do the arithmetic that players usually do by hand: DPI times sensitivity, the distance for one full turn, and the sensitivity that keeps that distance when the DPI or the game changes.
How the tools work
The DPI analyzer reads raw pointer movement in your browser while you hold the button and slide the mouse a known distance, then divides the counts by the distance in inches. It asks the browser for unadjusted movement so that pointer acceleration in the operating system does not change the result; where a browser cannot provide that, the panel says so.
The calculators use each game's yaw value, the angle the view turns per count at a sensitivity of 1. Those values are listed in the tools and in the guides, and the formulas are explained on the DPI vs sensitivity page so you can check the arithmetic yourself.
Nothing you move, click or type inside a tool is sent to our servers. See the privacy policy for details.
Corrections and feedback
If a measurement looks wrong on your hardware, a yaw value is out of date after a game update, or an explanation is inaccurate, tell us through the contact page. Include the mouse model, operating system, browser and game so we can reproduce it.
